Golf Course

Creating a championship mountain golf course is a bit more involved than merely putting 18 holes in a mountain meadow.

Snowmass Club is host to a magnificent Jim Engh traditional Irish links signature course. When award-winning architect Jim Engh designed the Snowmass Club Golf Course, he took cues from the ranching families that had inhabited these valleys for a century. The result was a course with majestic views, challenging landscapes, and sensitivity to the land and the sky above it.
The 18 hole championship design has stunning panoramic vistas and incorporates the highest standard of excellence with impeccably maintained fairways and greens, challenging elevation changes and bunkers.
The course features an open design which follows the rolling terrain nestled among picturesque ponds and streams, enhancing the essence of local terrain. Fellow members attempt to conquer the traditional Irish links course as it and twists around a Rocky Mountain landscape, creating an infinity of playing possibilities.
With five sets of tees, novices and pros alike are guaranteed an adventure. This course isn’t one you’ll soon master, or forget.

This short, dogleg left requires more accuracy than length. Be sure to use enough club for the approach shot if trying to carry the water on the left. It plays a little more uphill than it appears.
